How do I add holidays?

1. Select the profile tab (bottom right tab). 

2. Choose the child with whom you want set up your parenting schedule.  You can apply this schedule to all children in a later step.

3. Select the “Parenting Schedule” icon.

Press the orange (+) sign in the upper right hand corner.

Choose “Holidays.”

Press “Select” to use the “Holidays” template.

Click “Ok” if you want to continue setting up a holiday schedule.

You can create a holiday parenting schedule by clicking“Select Holiday” and choosing from the list of common holidays available and/or by customizing a holiday.

Choose a holiday from the list and click “Select.”

Fill in all the fields for each holiday possession period. You can begin and end this period of possession a specific number of days before and after each holiday selecting this information under “Begins” and “Ends.”

You will have the option to add a "Rule" for this template.

Click “Done” once added.

You can then apply the created holiday schedule to all children.  You also have the option to share it with your co-parent. Once you are finished creating this holiday, press the “Add” button.

Once your co-parent accepts the holiday schedule you created, this schedule will be added to his/her AppClose parenting schedule.

If you would like to accept this holiday parenting schedule, you will need to select the child(ren) to whom this parenting schedule applies and then click “Merge.”

Click “Accept” if you agree.

If you choose to accept your co-parent’s Holidays schedule this will override any parenting schedule you currently have in place for that specific time period.  Once you accept a holiday schedule, you will be able to see the holiday periods of possession created by your co-parent on your AppClose calendar.  Your periods of possession will be indicated with green circles.
