You will need to use a Parenting Calendar to create a swap days request. We specifically created a Parenting Calendar option for users to keep track of their parenting schedule and/or any swap days requests if they so choose. If you do not have a Parenting Calendar, go to How do I add a parenting calendar? and then follow the instructions below to create a swap days request.
1. Select the calendar icon.
2. Select the icon.
Select “Parenting Calendar” or the child’s parenting calendar (e.g. “Dylan – Parenting Calendar”) you want to use for this swap days request. If this request applies to more than one child, you will be able to merge this request with another child’s parenting calendar in a later step.
OR
Tap the orange (+) sign.
Select “Swap Days”.
1. Enter the title for this swap days request (e.g. Business trip).
2. Tap the orange arrow to proceed.
1. Select the recipient of this swap days request (e.g. Julia).
2. Tap the orange arrow to proceed.
1. Select the child (or children) to whom the swap days request applies (e.g. Dylan).
Optional: You can also share a copy of this request with others if you so choose. Tap the “Share With” button and select a recipient if you would like to share a copy of this request.
2. Tap the orange arrow to proceed.
1. Enter the date range for this swap days request.
Optional: Add more details to this request such as a memo or attach documentation related to this request.
2. Tap the orange arrow to send this swap days request.
Click “Ok”.
Status of a Swap Days Request
Your request will show as “pending” until your swap days request is approved or declined.
You will receive a notification when your swap days request is approved or declined. To view notification updates for the status of a swap days request:
1. Select the home icon (bottom left corner).
2. Tap the “” icon (top right corner).
Click on the request under “UPDATES” to view the status of your swap days request (pending, approved, or declined).
A green tick indicates that your request was approved.
A red x indicates that your request was declined.
