1. Before you can create and share an event with a non-connected co-parent or third party using AppClose Solo, you must add that co-parent or third party to your profile. If you have not added a co-parent or third party to your profile, go to: How do I add a co-parent? or How do I add a third party?
2. You can create and/or share an event with a non-connected co-parent or third party using any calendar, with the exception of a parenting calendar. Parenting calendars are for parenting schedules and swap day requests only. If you do not have an Events & Activities calendar (or another calendar you want to use to create events), go to: How do I add an Events & Activities calendar? or How do I add a new calendar?
3. To create and share an event with a non-connected co-parent or third party, proceed to the instructions below:
1. Select the calendar icon.
2. Select the icon.
From your list of calendars, choose the calendar you want to use for the event you want to create (e.g. “Events & Activities”).
Press the orange (+) sign.
Select “Event”.
1. Create a title for the event.
2. Tap the orange arrow to proceed.
1. Select the start date/time for this event.
2. Select the end date/time for this event.
3. Tap the orange arrow to proceed.
1. Select the child or children to whom this event applies (e.g. Dylan). If this event does not apply to a child, skip this step.
2. The calendar you chose for this event should be displayed here (e.g. Events & Activities). If it’s not, choose the calendar where you want to record this event.
3. If you would like to share this event with a non-connected co-parent or third party, tap “Share with”. Select the name of the person with whom you want to share this event and/or select a name from your contacts or enter the email address. You can share this event with more than one person.
4. Click the orange arrow to proceed.
1. Optional: Add more details or attach additional information for this event.
2. Click “Save”.
Choose how you would like to share this event with each recipient (e.g. via text, email, social media, etc.).
