Note: When you choose to sync your phone calendar with your AppClose calendar, the entries from your personal calendar will NOT be shared with the other parent or a third party. Only you will be able see any entries from your personal calendar. If you choose to share an event from your AppClose calendar with one or more people, only you and those individuals will be able to see that shared event.

For example:
- If you had a parenting schedule set up, you will find it in your Parenting Calendar. (e.g. <child’s name> - Parenting Calendar).
- All trade requests created and sent by you can be found in your Parenting Calendar (e.g. <child’s name> parenting calendar.)
- All expenses and requests (reimbursements, etc.) created and sent by you can be found in your Expenses & Requests
- All events, activities, and appointments created and sent by you can be found in your Events & Activities
- All trade requests, expenses, reimbursement requests, other requests, events, activities, or appointments received by you can be found in your Default
- You can find all of the above under All Calendars.
To add a new calendar:
1. Select the calendar icon.
2. Select the icon.
Click “Add calendar(s)”.
1. Select one or more calendars from the list of available calendar templates by clicking the box next to each type of calendar you’d like to add.
2. Click “Add calendar(s)”.
For example, this user has only chosen one calendar template from the Parenting category – the Parenting Calendar. After adding this calendar, template this user will choose a color for that calendar and then go to his/her calendar list to begin setting up his/her parenting calendar using our parenting schedule templates or custom option.
- Choose a color for each Parenting Calendar template chosen.
- Click “Save”. These calendars will now be displayed in your calendar list.

To view your calendars in your calendar list, follow these steps:
- Select the calendar icon.
- Select the icon.
Click on the calendar you want to set up (e.g. Events).
Tap the orange + sign to add an entry to this calendar.
Choose an option for the information you want to add to this calendar (e.g. Event & Activities). Enter the requested information and click “Save” when finished.
This entry will be saved in the calendar you chose, as well as “All Calendars”.
