Does my subscription apply to the entire Circle or only to me?
Your subscription applies only to your account. For a co-parent to answer calls and see messages, they must also have an active subscription.
Can I pay for my co-parent’s subscription?
Yes. You can purchase a subscription for your co-parent (or another Circle member) through the AppClose Web by following these steps:
- Go to web.appclose.com and log in to your AppClose account.
- Select the Circle icon (top center of the screen).
- Choose your co-parent’s profile from the Circle list.
- Select “Buy subscription for…”.
- Choose an Annual or 2-Year subscription plan and complete the purchase.
Once completed, the subscription will be activated for the selected co-parent.
How do I change my payment method?
- For subscriptions purchased in the mobile app, payment methods are managed through the App Store or Google Play.
- For subscriptions purchased on the web, sign in to the AppClose Web and open Subscription → Manage.
I purchased a subscription, but the app still asks me to subscribe. What should I do?
This usually happens when the subscription was purchased under a different account.
In this case, the subscription is not associated with the AppClose account you are currently using.
If this happened to you, you can easily transfer your subscription by following these steps:
- Log in to the AppClose Web using the account you want to use.
- Open the Subscription screen.
- Tap “I Already Subscribed”.
- Copy and paste the invoice number from your receipt email (for example: LINKT-123456).
You can find the invoice number in an email with the subject:
“Your AppClose Inc receipt”
The invoice number format to copy and paste is LINKT-123456.
After you submit the invoice number, the subscription will be transferred to the account you’re currently logged into.
How to find your primary email
To confirm which email is associated with your AppClose account:
- Open the Profile tab (bottom right corner).
- Select Your Profile.
- Open Account Information — your primary email will be shown there.
Does AppClose provide fee waivers?
Yes. AppClose provides fee waivers to help ensure continued access to court-ordered communication for individuals who qualify.
Approved fee waivers provide full, unlimited access to all AppClose features. All requests are handled with care and confidentiality.

Does AppClose provide fee waivers for domestic violence survivors?
Yes. AppClose provides fee waivers for survivors of domestic violence to help ensure continued and safe access to court-ordered communication.
A fee waiver may be requested by contacting supportdv@appclose.com and including the primary email address associated with the AppClose account.
Requests may be submitted:
Directly by the survivor, or By an attorney or legal services organization on the survivor’s behalf.
All requests are handled with care and confidentiality.
How do I cancel my subscription?
- If your subscription was purchased in the mobile app, go to Subscription → Manage and cancel it through the App Store or Google Play.
- If your subscription was purchased on the web, sign in to the AppClose Web, open Subscription → Manage, and cancel it there.
After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid period.
You will continue to have full access during this time, and no further charges will be made once the subscription expires.
