What is Read-Only Mode? Can I still see and export my records if I stop paying?

Your subscription will end if your trial period ends without a purchase, a monthly subscription payment isn't made by the end of the grace period, or a longer subscription or a financial hardship fee waiver plan isn't renewed. Rather than being locked, your account then moves to Read-Only Mode.

In Read-Only Mode, you can still sign in, view your past account activity, and export your past records. There is no charge to view or export your existing records in Read-Only Mode — including Certified Electronic Business Records exports (available to U.S. users), which are free to generate. In Read-Only Mode, your call recordings and transcripts (created with the mutual consent of both parties) can also be exported and downloaded, at no charge.

This process works the same way in every country where AppClose is available. Certified Electronic Business Records exports are currently a U.S. only feature; outside the U.S., your standard record exports work the same in Read-Only Mode and are also free.

Your records history stays as it was: nothing is deleted, and your records remain available to you.

What Read-Only Mode doesn't include: using AppClose to communicate with other users — sending messages, making calls, or creating new requests. Anyone with whom you were connected will see that you aren't receiving communications through the platform.

Getting back to full access: Read-Only Mode continues until your account is reactivated by a paid subscription or an approved fee waiver. When you reactivate, full functionality returns and your complete account activity history is where you left it.
