How do I start a chat conversation?

Note: By design, chat conversations between co-parents cannot be archived, altered, or deleted by users. Chat conversations between co-parents are retained as described in Section 3 of our Terms of Service. AppClose removes a record only in the narrow circumstances that Section describes — for example, when a court orders it — and any such action is noted in the record itself.

1. Tap the chat icon (bottom center).

2. You can chat with any connected co-parent or third party. Choose the person with whom you want to start a chat conversation.

To attach documents or media (photos, videos, etc.) to your chat messages, select the paper clip icon.

Choose how you would like to attach a document or media to your chat message.

To expand a chat message for a larger view of the conversation and/or to continue writing, click the icon.
