There are two ways you can connect with a client from AppClose Pro. Your client can send an invitation to you to connect, or you can send your client a link and invitation to connect.
Responding to client invitations to connect
- Log in to AppClose Pro and select the ‘Clients’ icon from the left menu:
- From the Clients Dashboard, select the ‘Pending requests’ tab:
- From here, you can search for the name of the client you wish to connect with by scrolling through the list or searching for them using the search field at the top of the screen. Once you locate the client, select the green check mark to the right of their name to connect.
- You will receive a confirmation screen asking you to confirm your decision to connect. Click ‘Yes’:
The client’s status will change from “Pending’ to ‘Active’ and they will be moved to your ‘Clients’ list (‘Clients’ tab).
NOTE: If you wish to decline a request, click the red ‘X’ instead. You will receive a confirmation screen asking you to confirm your decision.
Sending an invitation to connect
- Log in to ApClose Pro and select the ‘Clients’ icon from the left menu:
- From the Clients Dashboard, select the ‘Connect’ button (upper right corner):
- You will receive a connection dialog screen containing a search field. If your client is already an AppClose user, you can search for him/her using either their email address or mobile phone number:
- If your client is already an AppClose user, his/her name will appear as you search. Select their name and click ‘Send a request’:
- You will receive a notification indicating your request to connect has been sent. Click Close to proceed:
- Your client will now appear in your ‘Outgoing requests’ tab with a ‘Request sent’ status. If you prefer to cancel your invitation, click ‘Cancel request’ to the right of your client’s name:
If your client is not yet an AppClose user:
- If your client is not yet an AppClose user, their information will not show as you search. Enter your client’s name in the field provided and click ‘Request to connect’:
- A new screen will appear containing an invitation link. Click ‘Copy link’ and ‘Close’:
- Send an email to your client, pasting the invitation link into the body of the email. When he/she receives the email, clicks the link, and follows the steps to install AppClose, complete their profile, and approve your request, they will appear in your ‘Clients’ tab with a ‘Connected’ status. In the interim, he/she will appear in your ‘Outgoing requests’ list.
