Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an additional security measure to protect your account from unauthorized access by requiring a second form of verification. When activated, each time you log in you will verify your identity by entering a 6-digit code sent via email and text message.
NOTE: If you lose access to the mobile device and/or the email address you use to authenticate your account, please contact support@appclose.com.
To activate two-factor authentication:
To enable two-factor authentication, you must first verify your mobile number. Once verified:
- Log in to AppClose and select the ‘Profile’ tab (bottom right corner):

Scroll down to the ‘Two-factor authentication’ set the toggle switch to the “on” position:
- You will be directed to a screen indicating the number that your verification code will be sent to. Click ‘Send a code’:
- Check your text message and enter the verification code provided:
The next time you log in to AppClose, to verify your identity, you enter a 6-digit code sent to your email address, and then we will send you another 6-digit code via text message that you must enter into the screen provided.
NOTE: After turning on 2FA, you will be automatically logged out on any other devices using AppClose.
