1. Log in to AppClose, and select the ‘Profile’ tab (bottom right corner). Ensure your profile is selected and tap “Account information”:
2. You will be directed to a screen with your account information, including backup email. Click the ‘Add backup email’ button:
3. You will be directed to a screen to enter a backup email. Enter the backup email and click ‘Add backup email.’
4. Confirm the action in the pop-up.
5. Check your backup email and enter the verification code provided.
6. Enter the verification code sent to your backup email address.
Your backup email address has been successfully added.
When you have an unverified backup email:
1. Log in to AppClose, and select the ‘Profile’ tab (bottom right corner). Ensure your profile is selected and tap “Account information”:
2. You will be directed to a screen with your account information, including backup email. Click the ‘Verify’ button next to the backup email.
3. You will be directed to a screen informing you that a verification code will be sent to your backup email. Click ‘Send code’
4. Check your backup email and enter the verification code provided.
You will now see a green ‘Verified’ icon next to your backup email.
When you need to update your backup email:
1. Log in to AppClose, and select the ‘Profile’ tab (bottom right corner). Ensure your profile is selected and tap ‘Account information’:
2. You will be directed to a screen with your account information, including backup email. Click the ‘Edit’ icon next to the backup email.
3. You will be directed to a screen to enter a new backup email. Enter the new backup email and click ‘Update backup email.’
4. Confirm the action in the pop-up.
5. Check your backup email and enter the verification code provided.
6. Enter the verification code sent to your new backup email address.
Your backup email address has been successfully updated.
