AppClose Pro lets you request temporary access to monitor chat communication between co-parents. You can view chat history as well as chats occurring in real time. Clients can select 2, 7, 14 (default), 30, 60, and 90-day durations, or create a custom sharing duration of any period up to 90 days.
To request access to chat records:
Method 1: from the ‘Share chats’ screen
- Log in to AppClose Pro and select ‘Clients’ from the navigation menu on the left:
- On the ‘Clients’ screen, select the ‘Shared chats’ tab and click ‘Request chat access’:
Note: If you already have requests present, the ‘Request chat’ button is located in the upper right corner of the ‘Shared chats’ screen:
- If you are connected to your client in AppClose Pro, select the client to whom you would like to send an access request. When ready, click ‘Next’:
Alternatively, if you are not connected to your client in AppClose, you may request access by selecting the ‘Cient email’ email radio button and entering their email address. NOTE: The email address entered must be the same email address the recipient used to create their AppClose account.
- You will receive a notification asking you to confirm your selection. Click ‘Send request’:
- You will receive a confirmation that your request has been sent. Click ‘Close’:
Your client will receive an email informing them you have requested access:
Your client will be directed to a page on which they can select the duration of time they’d like to grant access - up to 90 days. When your request has been granted, you will receive an email notification:
Method 2: From an individual client page:
1. Log in to AppClose Pro and select ‘Clients’ from the navigation menu on the left:
2. On the ‘Clients’ screen, select the client you’d like to send a request to:
NOTE: If needed, use the search field in the upper left corner to search for specific clients
3. From the client screen, select the “Shared chats’ tab and click ‘Request chat access’:
4. Confirm your wish to send a request. Optionally, provide a reason for your request:
5. You will receive a notification that your request has been sent:
6. You will receive a confirmation that your request has been sent. Click ‘Close’:
Your client will receive an email informing them you have requested access and you will be notified once your request has been approved or declined.
NOTES:
- Requests expire after 7 days. After 7 days, you will need to resend the request.
- Clients may provide access for up to 90 days.
- Once the access duration set by the client expires, you will need to request access again
